Before the summer ended Don invited us to his place for a hike to the beach and a salmon on the fire. It was just a beautiful day!

Kayak Trip 2007: Copeland Islands & Savary Island

Por tercer año consecutivo, el ultimo fin de semana largo del verano hicimos nuestro respectivo viaje en kayak. Este año hicimos el curso de rescate antes así que nos sentimos mucho mas seguros de ir solitos. Nos fuimos con Alicia, Fenja y Jannik. La pasamos buenísimo!

This is the third consecutive year we do our summer kayak trip. This year we took a rescue (self and assisted) course before going, so we felt much safer to go on our own. We went with Alicia, Fenja and Jannik. We had a great time!

Okanagan 2007

El fin de semana largo de Agosto nos fuimos los dos solitos a conocer el area de Okanagan. Es un valle laaargo que esta alrededor del Lago Okanagan. El calorcito, la poca lluvia y las caracteristicas semi deserticas del clima, lo hacen ideal para las 115 casas de vinos que se han instalado por alli.
Fuimos al centro cultural del desierto en Osoyoos (un edificio espectacular), hicimos un tour por varios vi~edos, paramos en algunos sembradios de frutas y paseamos por Kelowna y sus alrededores. La pasamos riquisimo! :)

We went to the Okanagan; we drove through Osoyoos, Penticton, etc., and stayed in Kelowna. We also drove further north almost until Vernon when we went to the Kalamalka Lake. We had a wonderful time! Enjoy the photos!
(As you can see, I was too lazy to translate the long story I wrote in Spanish... No offense... The photos will say it all! ;-)

Smart day - Canada day weekend

We rented smart cars for a 24 hours and drove to Whistler/Pemberton.
Soooo much fun! :-)
